The room was buzzing last week when R. A. Salvatore took the stage to speak to a packed house about story-telling and what it takes to create an immersive and compelling MMO world.

R. A. touched on many subjects in his speech including the need for immersive histories and a deep backstory when creating a new world, the importance of risk versus reward and his love of EverQuest. But the room really got excited when R. A. began talking about the Well of Souls, a device used in Copernicus to bring players back from the dead! The question posed to the audience was "What would you do for immortality?"
