Summary

38 Studios is looking for a Technical Producer to coordinate and track activities primarily for engineering focused cross-disciplinary teams.  This role will help facilitate communication and collaboration between engineering teams working on diverse systems, game features, and the service platform.  Exposure to formal project management techniques on an internal development team is a must. 

Position Responsibilities

• Work with cross-departmental functional teams to help scope, plan and schedule work using Scrum processes.
• Coordinate development and day to day tasking of teams, attempting to predict and avoid challenges, while being prepared to troubleshoot and provide solutions as needed. 
• Maintain pipelines and procedures for production and assist in identification of any tools necessary to do so. 
• If required, coordinate assignments and feedback with outsourced developers.

Knowledge, Skills & Ability Requirements

• Knowledge:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Project, Word, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with SCRUM and Waterfall development processes.
• Competencies:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and strongly driven to make high quality product.
• Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience.
  • Experience in the game industry a strong plus, but not required.
