Summary

The Cinematics Department is seeking a Cinematics Editor with a keen understanding of cinematic storytelling to assist in crafting outstanding cinematics for our studio. 

Responsibilities

• Use commercial software to create animated sequences of the highest quality
• Work closely with the Cinematics Director and the Cinematics team
• Meet project deadlines / milestones as set by studio production management
• Work within established pipelines and procedures for game art production
• Support various art efforts for other departments as requested
• Promote a productive and energetic culture within the team and studio

Qualifications

• Expert level knowledge of After Effects
• Experience using Photoshop
• Solid understanding of cinematic storytelling, camera placement and movement
• Ability to adapt to and work in established styles
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with artists and production staff across the pipeline
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• 2+ years applicable industry experience

Pluses

• Experience using the Unreal Engine and Matinee
• Experience creating storyboards
• Understanding of cinematic or feature animation production pipelines and workflows
• Passion for video games and film
