Summary

38 Studios is looking for an Audio Producer to coordinate and track activities for our audio team.  This role will help facilitate communication and collaboration between engineering and content creation teams working on diverse systems, game features, and the service platform.  Exposure to formal project management techniques on an internal development team is a must. 

Position Responsibilities

• Work with talented and creative audio department leads to determine resources necessary to see projects through to completion.
• Coordinate, schedule, track, and manage activities to ensure that project tasks are completed on time.
• Direct and manage VO, including but not limited to voiceover pipeline, casting, recording session scheduling, voice direction and asset tracking.
• Facilitate communication between interior team members and exterior teams.
• Provide direction to ensure that project goals, objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved.
• Supply updates to executive team on progress.
• Coordinate development and day to day tasking, predicting issues and troubleshooting where needed.
• Maintain pipelines and procedures for production.

Knowledge, Skills & Ability Requirements

• Knowledge:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Project, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with VO and audio direction, management, tracking and scheduling.
  • Experience with sound development process, project management and performance management.
  • Experience in game-based audio practices.
  • Familiarity with SCRUM and Agile development processes.
• Competencies:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and strongly driven to make high quality product.
• Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience.
  • Experience as an audio engineer, audio designer or audio producer in games.
  • Experience managing or directing VO.
  • Passion and knowledge of MMO’s a huge plus.
