Summary

As an Assistant Narrative Designer, you will assist Design Leads and the narrative team in designing and implementing game content while maintaining the overall game vision.

Position Responsibilities

• Assist in writing and implementing quests and freeform game activities using our proprietary tools suite.
• Assist in organizing our internal wiki and other design documents.
• Write in-game dialog for NPCs.
• Complete other tasks as needed to support the narrative team.

Knowledge, skills & ability requirements

• Knowledge: Deep knowledge of the role-playing game genre. Excellent storytelling, writing, and editing skills.
• Competencies: Task driven, self-motivated, and proactive. Actively accepts direction and feedback. Works well under deadline pressure. Must have an enormous passion for games. Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills are required.
• Experience: College degree preferred – position well suited for recent graduates. Experience with a commercial content editor a plus. Experience with scripting languages a plus. Writing sample and/or playable mod (TES, GECK, Aurora, etc.) are required.
