Summary

The Art department is seeking Assistant Animators with a keen understanding of motion, storytelling, and action to assist in crafting world class character animation for our studio. 

Responsibilities

• Use Maya to create animated sequences of the highest quality.
• Work closely with the lead animator and art director.
• Meet project deadlines/milestones as set by lead animator.
• Work within established pipelines and procedures for game art production.
• Professionally give and receive detailed animation critiques.

Qualifications

• Experience creating production-quality animation in Maya.
• A demonstrated understanding of animation principles.
• Ability to adapt to and work in the established animation style.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with artists and production staff across the pipeline.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Pluses

• Experience using the Unreal Engine.
• Experience creating production-quality animation in a studio environment.
• Understanding of animation production pipelines and workflows.
• Passion for video games and film.
